In the second quarter of 2025, the iOS game market in Romania showcased intriguing trends among the top free-to-play games. According to data from Sensor Tower, these games experienced varied performance in terms of downloads, revenue, and active users.

Block Blast! by Hungry Studio saw its weekly downloads fluctuate, peaking at around 5.8K in early May, before settling to approximately 4.5K by the end of June. The game's active user count began at 223K, dropped mid-quarter, and recovered to nearly 160K.

Roblox from Roblox Corporation maintained a steady presence with weekly downloads ranging from 3.8K to 5.5K. Revenue trends showed modest fluctuations, peaking at $1.6K in mid-April. Notably, active users increased consistently, reaching over 315K by the quarter's end.

Kingshot, a newer entrant by Century Games, demonstrated impressive growth in weekly revenue, which soared to $24K by late June. Download numbers saw a significant rise, hitting a high of 6.6K in late May, while active users climbed to 7.3K by quarter's close.

Subway Surfers by Sybo Games continued its stable run with weekly downloads averaging between 3.1K and 4.2K. Revenue remained relatively steady, averaging around $150, while active user figures fluctuated, peaking at over 56K in early April.
